Saw this msn nick of this friend of mine, kind of sparked off a thought inside of me.
"Because Pretending's Easier"
Is pretending an easier way? Out of a situation, out of a problem? Out of a conflict, out of anything?
Often, we would always tell our friends, "hey, so-and-so, we cannot be pretentious la, cannot just ignore the problems one.." or "u cannot run away from the problem forever.." But there are times when we ourselves, run away from our own problems. U know, days where you just want to run away to some place and hide from them and wish the problems will just go away and disturb u no more. Everyone is like that, sometimes. Even me.
Everybody has his/her own set of mountains to conquer, giants to defeat, battles to be won. Mine might be different from yours and will be different from another person. Each requires different strategies and preparations to really be able to deal with them. Completely. Thoroughly. To be able to walk away victoriously, not cowardly. Everyone has his/her own battlefield. Be there for one another. You cannot fight a battle when you don't even know where your allies and enemies are. Trust each other, lean upon one another. Some battles, I know, have to be fought alone. But it's still great to know that there are reliable allies by your side all the way. =)

Growth is something that we go through. The bible commands us to grow because we are His creation and all living things grow, physically, emotionally, spiritually.
When you cannot grow anymore in any position, it is best to take out and put into anther position where there is more room and chances for you to grow evenmore. Just like a tree, it can grow to the size of the soil around it. Large plot of land, big tree. Small plot of land, small tree. Promotion comes from God, adjust yourself that you come into the fullness of your calling in Him. Shifting of position doesn't means it's bad. It all boils down to the attitude that you are carrying.
Talent can bring you to a place where your character cannot substain you. Be a person who has a great character that whatever talent God has bless you with, you can use it most efficiently to the glory of His name.
