God of my youth I remember Your call on my life took me o'er Your love has seen me through all my days I stand here by Your grace
On this altar I've written my life Tell of the story I have with You My Lord, I want the world to know
God of my Forever And forever I'm with You My life is saved with a price Your sacrifice redeemed ny soul God of my forever And forever I will sing My greatest honor will always be To serve my Lord and King
God of my life I surrender My heart finds its rest in Your word Praises will not be enough to show How my love for You has grown
Nothing matters when You're here with me In the end just to hear You say 'Well Done' Bowing before Your throne
Forever and Ever Jesus You alone in glory reign Forever and ever With You I'll walk this narrow way
Quote - ' Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience.' - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Patience is strength of Spirit. She is the measure of our capacity. Short spirit, short patience, long spirit, long patience. Patience bears heavy loads with a happy attitude, without complaining. Patience is something I decide to receive, to embrace. Say, 'I decide to be patient. I recieve patience now.' Patience is nourished through trial, strengthened through pressure. Whatever you are facing right now, it is increasing your patience. This is turn increases your capacity. Increased capacity increases your success. Be patient, it will 'surely come to pass.'
Wuhoo! Here's me for the weekly update of my life. See the frequency of my updates when it comes to school term. School term = more homework = time to blog to destress. Hahahaha.
So fast it's already week 3 of the new semester. Everything's been fine, while I'm still trying to appeal to Student Affairs Office for taking more modules this semester. Apparently, lecturers can't help much in subject registration and those people who are involved in subject registration cannot be bothered to attend to any student at all. Is this how a supposedly international standard university supposed to operate? Simply put off. Not me alone. A few others echoed back the same sentiments.
Apart from that, on the 12 of August, went to celebrate JOHN TAY SOON ANN 21st birthday. Hahahaha. The gang went down to help in settling up the chalets and barberque stuffs. Quite fun with the people and bullying of John in the mean time. We cooked char siew chicken (SLURP!), Taiwan sausages, stingrays, crabsticks, some chicken that McKenzie prepared (no idea what it was.. hahaha..), fried rice, curry chicken and desserts prepared by John's mum. Great dinner, apart from the irritating rain. John got to open all his presents and oooo.. all were of quite substantial amount one. hahahaha. It's more blessed to give than to receive.
After everything was packed at night, all of us set off together. For night cycling! Wuhoo! It was fun! There were me, Mac, Jasmine, Adam, John, Quansoon, Hongpeng and Joelle. We cycled all the way from Pasir Ris to East Coast. Hahahaha. Cycling still not that tiring as compared to walking up and down East Coast by foot. *looks at Daph* Hahahaha. But Joelle slipped during the journey and scrapped her knee. And she's proud to show off her scars wherever she goes. Hahaha. By the time everyone reached back the chalet, all of us were dead tired. Just laid down on the beds and slept.
The next day, we went to do something exciting - we went to Wild Wild Wet! Hahahaha. It was quite fun inside. But not really worth the money to go in, we felt. But since we were given free tickets so why not? Hahahaha. We played quite alot of them and really enjoyed ourselves! Hahahaha. And John was poked at for a certain thing he did(or did not do). Hahaha. By the end of the day, everyone was tired and we went to have dinner, bathed and went home.
Then, came Friday! The next barberque! Hahaha. Involving the whole cell group. Quite chaotic actually, with Colby, Jonathan and Davin trying to burn down Melvin's condominium by setting up the pit to full blast. It was more of a campfire than a barberque fire. Hahaha. Things that went in came out black in SECONDS. Hahahaha. We put down the fire for quite a bit and it was ready for bbq. Alot of fun and laughter. Though I wasn't there, 'cause I was with some members to send a friend to the MRT station. But overall, quite a good bbq. Though I didn't eat much. Hahahah. But there's alot of food left also. Very nice and big condominium. Just that the security can be a bit more friendly. Hahaha.
The next day, James, wenhui, Daph and me went to eat at a Japanese restaurant beside the swimming complex after Daph's exam in the morning. The food was GOOD, AWESOME, BEYOND WORDS OF DESCRIPTION. Hahahaha. Especially the fried sushi, James and I took 3 plates each. Simply wonderful. But there was also sushi which are totally soaked with wasabi, which almost caused me to tear and choke. Hahaha. We also had beef and salmon belly miso soup. The salmon belly miso soup was superb. The beef was good but the soup is too salty and sour. Hahaha. We took 2 sips and that's it. The rest of the food is also quite nice and very worth it. Would want to go to it again some other day and to eat again! Hahaha.
After lunch, went back home to shift house! Hahahaha. Yup, I shifted to a new location that shall not be disclosed. Muahaha. So saturday was busy shifting the stuffs, totally draining that we were too tired to bring out the packed stuffs when we shifted over. Hahaha. After that, went out with the gang again for dinner and gaming (again!) Hahaha.
Sunday, went for service and the speaker was Joyce Meyer. She really preached it good. Will share at a later date of her sermons and definitely Dr A.R. Bernard's one. At night, went for cheerleading practice in NTU for our upcoming events. It's a very good way to earn quick bucks. Very good way. Hahahaha. After that, rushed off to James' house to watch the disappointing match of the season - Liverpool vs Chelsea. Was a superb matchup marred by poor referee-ing. Unfortunate Liverpool drew with Incompetent Chelsea. After that, drove home and slept.
Hahahah. I guessed about that's it. That's all that happened within the few days in my life.
Till the next time, Till the last trumpet sound.
