Hehehehe. It's been another long time since I've updated. Written one already but haven't got anytime to post them up. =d
Things had been going very busy lately. Mainly because Christmas was round the corner. And alot of stuffs and visitations needed to be done. Overall, enjoyable and fun~ Hehehe.
11-12 Dec was our ever first zone camp for IC Zone~! Wuhooo~! Exciting~! Had to woke up super early and take bus to yishun. Met Joanne along the way and we chatted till Yishun. Then, rushed over to Millie's house to collect the drums stuffs then rush back all the way to take the bus on time. Just nice~! Hehehe. Got to know some new friends along the bus ride. Reached Dairy Farm and began our camp. We were divided into different groups and our groups were given the colour yellow, so after much brainstorming, we decided that our team will be called KIM CHIO~! (Banana in Hokkien) Hehehe. Hilarious bunch of people, with Timothy and weiting as our team leaders~! Very enthusiastic and rah-rah people. Enjoyed ourselves with them! And the games were quite fun too, especially the war games. Dirty and tiring la, but fun~ though quite messy. Hahaha. Everyone was super dirty after that. Then later, we went to practice for our gigs that was to be at the campfire. And we had to stand on tables and perform. Scary la! We thought that the tables might give way halfway. But thank God everyone enjoyed our perfomance that night. Even got an encore, but we didn't do it. Hehehe. After that, Helen sang a jazz number and it was good~! Then ian came up to do 2 songs~! It won the crowd over. Hehehe. Very nice songs! Hahaha. After that, we had our night confidence walk, which I felt that the timing between the groups were too small, end up everyone going into the night confidence walk in a big group. Kind of ruined the whole atmosphere. Oh, well, at least some of them were ambushed by the ambush party during the walk. Hehehe. After that, cabbed home with wenhui, Daph and Del.
After that, it was just visitations after visitations, planning for Christmas chillout, appreciation cell group, caring system, etc. Alot of stuffs need to be done, need to be settled as soon as possible.
Christmas chillout was on the 20 Dec, at Harvey's house. It was great~ We all played Need for Speed on his XBox 360. Great graphics. Ya, and all of us enjoyed the games. Then, it was on to the food as wenhui came over. We had roast chicken (yum yum!), potato salad (which was quite ok but needs alot of improvement.. Haiz..), nuggets, pork sausages and the log cake(which all of us forgot until alot of the ppl had left..)! So the guys stayed over and all of us were playing either Need for Speed, MapleStory or Ranarok Online. Until everyone is tired, then we went to sleep, continue the same ritual the next day. Heheheh. But it was great time to spend together.
Christmas Service were great! Christmas @ Changs was a nice musical put up by our church production. Kudos to them~! Hehehe. Many attended the 17 services in total and many people gave good comments on the musical. A total of 51, 350 people attended the 17 services. A record breaking attendance that's set by our church again! Yeah! Thanks for everyone who worked hard in contributing to this big day. But this is just the beginning. We need to intergrate the people until they are rooted in the house of God.

The time to blog is here. Hehehe. Another fortnightly update, quite a lot of stuffs happened these 2 weeks. Let's see if I can remember most of them. Hahaha.
On Sat, 24 Oct, went out after service and fellowship with wh and del. Really impromptu. When everyone was about to go home, wh just said, "eh.. Let's go out.." So we went out with James pang-seh us. Hehehe. So we went for a drive and toured around Tampines to find a Caltex (i think..) kiosk. Which eventually it is actually Esso. Hahaha. Then we went Siglap Hong Kong Cafe. Went to the ones in Marina Square, Bugis area and one more near tiong bahru. But this was the first time been to the one at Siglap. Quite a nice place, deco normal lor. And we ate quite a lot of stuffs in the place. The fried chicken chop burger is nice~ except it is so messy when you try to eat it. Dunno where to start and where to cut. The food was like all over the plate la. But it's nice, really good. And the chicken and dessert... slurp. Top it up with great fellowship. Simply enjoyed ourselves. And that's just the beginning. After that, we still went East Coast. At 3am. Just went there and really crapped, and random stuffs. One word: Random. But yet, we had so much fun and laughed like nobody's business. That's fellowship ba. No plans, just randomness, enjoying one another's company, laughing with and at one another, relaxed. Although I was tired in the end, but still really enjoyed the time.
Monday, went to watch ENCHANTED with daph, margt, angeline, amanda, desiree, melvin lim, yanxuan and janice. Another mini-outing. Random. Hehehe. Really fun and a nice movie. Think most people were skeptical about the movie but it was really good! Definitely above average, and considering it is from Disney, it is a breakthrough on its own. A 4 out of 5. And they lived happily ever after. =)
On the 1 December, N112 day, we decided to do something that we have never done before as a cg. Something exciting. Something out of the box. Something loving. We decided to clean 5 units of elderly people. Yeah!
The team leaders met early that day to recee the units so as to allocate which team to which venue. Some of the units were quite clean and really in good shape. Ours were exceptional. Hehehe. Because the ah-po uses charcoal to cook, the walls and ceilings were actually not white but dark brown. Our unit was the most challenging one among the 5 but all of us got to work immediately. Some of us did the kitchen, some did the living room, some did the windows and toilet, and someone entertained the ah-po. =d
And at the end of the day, we really accomplished something. The floor was initially filled with black 'particles' - which we assumed that they were charcoal bits - and sand and even mud. After cleaning, the floor was sparking clean and it was such joy to walk on the floor. The clothes were neatly folded. The windows after much battling, turned from brown (due to the charcoal) to silver. The toilet turned cleaner. Kudos to everyone in the team (Melvin Lim, Janice, Baojuan, Darryn, Jesselyn, Desiree, Alice) and those who helped us after they finished their units (Colby-official cg plumber, wh, joy). We couldn't have done it without you guys~! Although the house wasn't a total transformation, but it was still a great improvement from the original state and everyone was happy and had a sense of accomplishment. But also everyone was dead-tired after that. Hehehe.
Sunday, went for service with timo, baojuan, shaofei and kimberly. After that, went back home and then went out for dim sum with wh and James~ The place was at Jalan Bersah, opposite the McDonalds. Quite a nice place, food was not bad. Some was really good. And they are opened overnight, every night! Hehehe. Think we'll go back there again. Another round of fellowship with James and wh. Talked about a lot of things. Randomness and hilarious. Hehehe. James, jia you~! You can do it~! =D
Having been watching movies after movies lately. Mainly on the computer and also big screen. Movies watched for the past 2 weeks: Enchanted, High School Musical, Take the Lead, I'm a Cyborg but it's ok, and another show i forgot the name. Upcoming shows to watch: Bewoulf(free ticket! =d). Maybe watching next monday. Hope it is still running. *prays*
Still trying to find a job over at Adam's side. But the boss still haven't get back to me yet, but Adam said it is looking good. Yeah! I can work and earn money. Hehehe. Also, trying to appeal to my professor to accept my Final Year Project. So fast, I've turned year 4. And soon, it'll end and into the workforce. Into the marketplace. To shine. No longer young le. Need to plan for my future and how to work things out. Make our plans and count on God to direct our paths. I trust in You.
